We had a lovely visit yesterday (11th May) from the IMO which stands for “Inspire Motivate and Overcome”. The children have focused on mental health week and have donated some lovely hampers to Birchfield, and wanted to tell our residents that they have been thinking of them and know it’s been tough through the pandemic.
IMO and the leaders have agreed to become friends of Birchfield and are going to arrange to come and visit us regularly and help with activities, gardening, play games and generally chat and befriend our residents.
This is fantastic for Birchfield and it’s given us all a sense of the normality that is slowly returning.
